Elon Musk took to Twitter Friday night to chime in on Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's future following the drama-filled six-week trial. "I hope they both move on," Musk tweeted.

During the preliminary, Depp asserted that Musk and Heard dated during his union with Heard. The Tesla CEO and Heard dated on and off after her split with Depp in 2016 until 2018, as per a Musk delegate.

In April, the Tesla CEO was summoned to surrender all correspondence he had with Heard concerning Depp.

Following the summon, Musk's lawyer, Alex Spiro, told Fox News Digital his client wouldn't stand up.

In 2019, the "Privateers of The Carribean" entertainer sued Heard for $50 million in criticism harms after she distributed a 2018 commentary piece in The Washington Post, claiming she was the casualty of abusive behavior at home. In 2021, Heard countersued Depp for $100 million. The two sides introduced shutting contentions Friday and presently anticipate a decision from the jury.
